The adventure of the founder Jill Wenger started in 2003 with a little boutique called ‘Impulse’ located in Seattle leading its way to the online shopping site of Totokaelo, launched in 2008 which received an incredible success, leading to international fame. The online store brings together a wide spectrum of clothes and accessories that carries a thoughtful, clear and casual concept within an eclectic selection. High luxury brands that indulges in minimal and avant garde styles and fine tailoring such as Jil Sander, Maison Martin Margiela, Rick Owens, Mary Katrantzou, Yohji Yamamoto, Costume National are favoured while presenting independent designers and brands such as Henrik Vibskov, Black Crane, Won Hundred and Damir Doma.

Totokaelo’s new concept store that was launched in May resembles a gallery space with its architecture and decoration, taking Wenger’s perspective one step further. Totokaelo’s name means “limitless sky” in Latin and the store just started to add art objects to its selection. Thanks to the space execution and the wooden details along the vast white limpid area, each and every product concept is highlighted in the store and for the ones who do not stop round Seattle, best is to settle with the website for regular inspirations as many frequenters do.
